This morning, I’m asking God for His guidance. Following God’s guidance can be a lot like flying an airplane (I imagine because I’ve never flown one) on a dark cloudy night with only the instrument panel to rely on. There are times when I can’t see the ground beneath me, I can’t see the horizon in front of me, I can’t see the stars or the moon above me-there’s nothing familiar by which to navigate. With all my normal reference points out of sight, I’m left to trust in the promptings of His Spirit, which remind me the truth of His Word. These are the very instruments I need to keep flying straight…and they never fail.
